As a member of Ann Arbor City Council I am required to conduct all city business via my city-issued email address. This email address is subject to Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) requests, so please know what you write me could end up on the front page of MLive. That can make people feel uncomfortable, but it shouldn’t. It’s just a mechanism to ensure transparency in our democracy.
